Aleh Falei was taken into custody under Article 339 of the Criminal Code (‘hooliganism’) for protest graffiti and under Article 369 of the Criminal Code for ‘insulting a government official.’ Later the charges under Article 369 were dropped.

On November 16, 2022, Falei was sentenced to 12 months of home confinement. The young man was released in the courtroom.
