Alena Androshchyk was detained on July 15, 2022, as part of a criminal case of ‘group actions grossly violating public order’ (Article 342 of the Criminal Code).

She was placed in pre-trial detention.

On September 14, 2022, Judge Dzmitryi Astapenka of the Zavadski District Court of Minsk found Androshchyk guilty and sentenced her to two and a half years of restricted freedom under home confinement.
