Aliaksandr Bialou is an anarchist detained on July 29, 2021 in Minsk. His apartment was searched after arrest.

Bialou was eventually transferred to the pre-trial detention center and charged under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (group actions grossly violating public order).

On April 22, 2022 the Minsk Regional Court sentenced the anarchists and political prisoners. Judge Alena Misnik found them guilty under part 1 of article 342 of the Criminal Code and part 3 of article 361-1 and pronounced the following sentences: Aliaksandr Bialou, Yauhen Rubashka, and Artsiom Salavei, born in 1996, each received five years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony, Artsiom Salavei, born in 1995, received four and a half years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.

Criminal case against four anarchists to be considered in private

On March 29, court hearings in the criminal case against anarchists and political prisoners Aliaksandr Bialou, Yauhen Rubashka, Artsiom Salavei, and Artsiom Salavei started in Minsk Regional Court. The case is being considered by Judge Alena Misnik.
