He was charged under a number of articles for his actions in October 2020: stopping a freight train (part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code), spraying red stripes on three white advertising lightboxes (Art. 341 of the Criminal Code), puncturing the wheels of a police officer's car (Part 3 Art. 339 of the Criminal Code), arson of a cigarette kiosk(part 3 of Art. 218 of the Criminal Code), failure to report a known grave or especially grave crime (part 2 of Art. 406) and actions with objects based on the use of flammable substances ( h. 2 art. 295-3).

Aliaksandr Marjasau was sentenced to 7 and a half years in a high security prison. His car was also seized.
