Aliaksandr Zanouski is a 37-year-old IT worker from Brest. For his comments on the Internet, he was accused of publicly insulting Aliaksandr Lukashenka under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code ('Contempt of the President of Belarus'). He was taken into custody on March 10, 2023.

On April 26, 2023, in the Maskoŭski District Court of Brest, the prosecutor required 18 months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony as a punishment for Zanouski.

The court agreed with the proposal of the state prosecution. Judge Ina Klyshpach headed the trial, with Fiodar Liashok as the state prosecutor.
