Aliaksei Herman was convicted in Brest Regional Court on April 8, 2024, on five Articles of the Criminal Code. The charges against him include:
Article 369-1 (discrediting Belarus), Part 3 of Article 361-1 (creation of an extremist formation or participation in it), Article 369 (insulting a government official), Part 1 of Article 368 (insulting Lukashenka), Part 1 of Article 130 (incitement to hatred).
Judge Andrei Siz handed down a sentence of five years in a penal colony and a fine of 200 basic units (equivalent to 8,000 rubles) to Aliaksei.
