Anastasiya Vaitovich

Anastasiya Vaitovich, a History student at the Belarusian State University,  was detained on November 24, 2021. A video of her among protesters from the last year appeared in one of the propaganda channels. She is probably being accused of participating in protests.

Anastasiya was transferred to a pre-trial detention center.

In the middle of March 2022, a trial was held in Lieninski District Court of Minsk. Judge Anastasiya Achalava found Anastasiya guilty under part 1 of article 342 of the Criminal Code and sentenced her to 3 years of restricted freedom in an open penal facility.
