Anton Stasheuski is a volunteer of the Country for Life Foundation.

He was detained on 9 July 2021 during "a large-scale KGB clearance operation against radicals". Anton was charged under Article 361-2 of the Criminal Code (financing activities of an extremist formation). Anton was transferred to the pre-trial detention center.

The trial started on October 17, 2022, in the Minsk Municipal Court. It became known that Stasheuski was charged under Part 1 of Article 357 of the Criminal Code with ‘conspiracy to seize state power in an unconstitutional way’. On November 11, 2022, Judge Dzina Kuchuk found the political prisoner guilty and sentenced him to eight years of imprisonment in a maximum-security penal colony.
