Dzmitryi Berasneu is a 20-year-old mechanic from Zhlobin (Gomel region). He worked for the local transport company Zhlobinavtotrans. In the 'repentance video', he says that he took part in the post-election protests, shouted slogans and ran away from the police.

Berasneu was convicted under Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code ('Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them'). The verdict was announced on August 29, 2022 - he was sentenced to 18 months of imprisonment in a penal colony.

Berasneu is serving his term in penal colony #17.
