According to the investigation, on the evening of March 26, 2021, Ivan Miksha tore the state flag of the Republic of Belarus from the facades of the buildings. He was charged under Article 370 and sentenced to compulsory treatment with isolation in a psychiatric hospital.
He was included in the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
