Yauhen Kharashkevich, a resident of Navapolack, was charged under three articles of the Criminal Code:

  • Part 1 of Art. 130 (incitement to hatred);
  • Article 369 (insulting a government official);
  • Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order).

He was sentenced to four years' imprisonment in a general security penal colony. While Yauhen was in pre-trial detention, his daughter Milana was born. 

In mid-December 2021 it became known that Yauhen had been transferred to Šklou penal colony No. 17.

It is known that in August 2022 Yauhen was transferred to Hrodna Prison No. 1.
