Yauhen Liudskikh is a resident of the Polack district sentenced by the Viciebsk Regional Court to five years in a medium-security penal colony under Part 1 of Art. 130 of the Criminal Code (incitement to hatred on the basis of other social affiliation, i.e. police officers), Part 1 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code (insulting the president) and Part 1 of Art. 366 (threats of violence against the president aimed at impeding his lawful activities). The trial was held behind closed doors.

According to the indictment, from October 2019 to July 2020, Liudskikh posted comments on the Internet calling for violence against law enforcement officers and the president, as well as insults to the head of state.
