Andrei Mamoika is the elder at the New Earth Baptist Church, a musician, and a developer. He was detained together with his wife Vera Mamoika.

The reason for the arrest was their photos made during the 2020 protests and published on the Internet. A criminal case was opened against the Mamoikas under the notorious Article 342 of the Criminal Code ('Active participation in group actions grossly breaching public order'). First, they were placed in a temporary detention center and then transferred to a remand prison.

The Mamoikas are also known as musicians. They took part in the recording of several albums of Christian music.

On April 20, 2023, the Centraĺny District Court of Minsk tried the case of the spouses. Judge Viktoryia Shabunia sentenced them to two years and six months of restricted freedom under home confinement.
