Yury Trapachou was accused of 'creating an extremist formation' (Part 1 of Art. 361-1), slandering Lukashenka (Part 2 of Art. 367), 'inciting other social enmity' (Part 1 of Art. 130), and 'organizing and preparing actions that grossly violated public order' (Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code). So far it is known that the accused Trapachou worked as an assistant driver at the locomotive depot in Homel. He is 41 years old.

The trial began on November 2, with Aleh Kharoshka as the judge.

The verdict was passed on November 9, 2022, in the Homel Regional Court, behind closed doors. The court ruled to impose a sentence of four (4) years of imprisonment in an enhanced-security penal colony.
