Maksim Fralou was convicted under Part 1 of Article 130 (Incitement to hatred), Part 1 of Article 342 (Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them), Part 1 of Article 368 (Insulting Lukashenka), and Article 369 (Insulting a government official) of the Criminal Code.

Judge Viktoryia Palishchuk announced the sentence, but details of the case remain unknown. 

      On March 10, 2023, Fralou was added to the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
