Ryhor Davydau is a former employee of the Ministry of Emergencies accused of participating in riots (Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code).

According to the indictment, he allegedly threw at least three unidentified objects towards the roadway and police vehicles during a protest held on August 10 near the Riga shopping center in Minsk. There was no victims. Davydau denied in court that he had committed such an act. Witnesses who testified at the trial said they did not see Davydau.

On February 25, 2021, the Frunzienski District Court sentenced Ryhor Davydau to four and a half years in a medium-security penal colony.
