Siarhei Shekh was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 368 (insulting Lukashenka) and Part 2 of Article 367 (slandering Lukashenka) of the Criminal Code.
He was sentenced to two years and six months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.
On April 11, 2024, the appeal of Siarhei was considered. The judicial board decided to remove the article for "insulting Lukashenka" (Part 2 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code) from the charges. Despite this, Siarhei's sentence remained unchanged at two and a half years of penal colony.
