Uladzimir Marozau was convicted by Minsk Regional Court under Part 1 of Article 130 (incitement to hatred), Part 2 of Article 342 (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them), Part 1 of Article 368 (insulting Lukashenka), Part 1 of Article 367 (slandering Lukashenka), Part 3 of Article 203-1 (illegal actions with regard to information about private life and personal data), Article 369 (insulting a government official), Parts 1 and 2 of article 361-4 (promoting extremist activities), Part 3 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code (Calls for restrictive measures (sanctions).

The case was heard by Judge Iryna Maiko from November 8-15, 2023, and the defendant was sentenced to imprisonment.

An appeal against the sentence was considered on January 26, 2024. Sviatlana Bandarenka was appointed as the Chairman of the commission.

      On February 2, 2024, Uladzimir Marozau was added to the list of citizens of Belarus, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
