Viktar Aktsistau is a 20-year-old 4th-year student of the Institute of Entrepreneurship. He majored in translation at the Faculty of Business and Law. Viktar was born in Novalukomĺ, Viciebsk region, but has lived in Minsk in recent years.

On December 30, Aktsistau was sentenced by the Lieninski District Court of Minsk to two and a half years of imprisonmentr in a penal colony under Article 364 of the Criminal Code for using violence against a riot police officer on August 10, 2020. He has been in custody since September 21, 2020. He was severely beaten during his detention on August 10, 2020, and his whereabouts were unknown for several days.

Aktsistau was serving his sentence in penal colony #15 in Mahilioŭ.

He served his term in full and was released on December 31, 2022.
