After six months behind bars, Vital's case was brought to court, and the charges were expanded by one more article of the Criminal Code, Article 130 (inciting hatred).

On July 18, 2022, the Minsk Municipal Court pronounced the verdict on the political prisoner. Judge Natallia Buhuk sentenced the political prisoner to three years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.
