Dzmitryi Luksha is a journalist who previously worked as a TV host on national TV.

He was detained after a search in his apartment in Minsk on March 11, 2022. Dzmitryi worked as a freelance correspondent with Kazakh TV channel, and the reason for his detention was his last story on the channel.

At first, Dzmitryi was accused of Article 369-1 of the Criminal Code (discrediting Belarus), but later charges under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (organization or active participation in the group actions that grossly violate the public order) were added.

He is held in pre-trial detention.
