Iryna Sankouskaya was detained for insulting comments about Lukashenka and Yuryi Karayeu. The woman also posted a picture of a red-green flag with a Nazi swastika on it. 

On December 14, 2023, she was convicted under Article 370 (Desecration of state symbols), Part 1 of Article 368 (Insulting Lukashenka), Article 369 (Insulting a government official) of the Criminal Code. Judge Maryia Aliferuk sentenced Iryna to one year and six months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony

She was pardoned and released on August 20, 2024.
