Maryna Aliseyenka was detained during a "solidarity raid" in late January 2024.

She is accused of assisting political prisoners and their families under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code (Promoting extremist activities) and Article 342 of the Criminal Code (active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order). Maryna's trial will begin on October 2, 2024. The case will be considered by Judge Siarhei Khrypach.

It is known that Maryna graduated from the Minsk State Linguistic University in 2008. After that she worked as a translator, but in 2012 she got a job at the five-star hotel Crowne Plaza in Minsk. In two years she went from assistant sales manager to head of the sales and marketing department.
