Siarhei Dziatsuk was accused of violence or threat of violence against a police officer (Article 364 of the Criminal Code).

On March 5, 2021, police searched the apartment of Dziatsuk's mother. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on February 28, several women held a picket with white-red-white flags and a poster reading "Woman fighters from all over the world! Congratulations on March 8." The woman did not want to give her phone to the police, and her 35-year-old son Siarhei, who was at home at the time, tried to defend his mother.

As a result, the man was sentenced to three years in a general-security penal colony.

On the day of his release he was arrested again. He was charged under Part 1 of Article 411 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (malicious disobedience to the requirements of the administration of the penitentiary institution) and sent to Žodzina prison. The trial began on June 20, 2024. The case was considered by Judge Liudmila Zinkevich, who found the political prisoner guilty and sentenced him to another year of imprisonment.
