Piotr Zinevich is an entrepreneur based in Baranavičy, who was sentenced to 2 years of restricted freedom in an open-type penal facility for 'libel' against a police officer under Art. 188 of the Criminal Code.
He was convicted of publishing a photo of a police officer on his page on the VKontakte social network with the caption, "He took part in the dispersal of the protests and tortured people".
On August 16, 2021, he was sent to serve his sentence to open-type penal facility #9.
On January 11, 2023, Zinevich was released under the Amnesty Law of December 7, 2022.
